Alex Fernando
Director | Founder
Alex has held leadership, consulting, and operational roles within Australian and global organisations. He has acquired over 15 years of experience working across industries in Europe, Asia and Australia. He has held executive roles within ERGT Australia, Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety, DEKRA Organisational Safety & Reliability and Sentis which has furthered his appreciation of high hazards organisations. He believes incremental, judicious and pragmatic improvements are often better than disruptive change. Together with his team, he has developed and executed safety and business improvement initiatives including large scale workforce development, critical risk management, governance and assurance programs. Alex is well known for his curiosity, systems thinking and highly collaborative approach to develop, deliver and sustain programs that positively impact organisations.
Alex holds a B. Engineering (Hons), B. Science (Physiology), MBA (Strategy and Leadership) and currently pursuing post-grad qualifications in incident investigations. Alex is also co-founder of Incident Analytics.
